This event is free to the public, but we are asking for your participation as follows:
1) Bring some canned goods, cleaning supplies or over the counter medicines for donation to our Rebuild Indiana tornado relief. All this stuff will go to the Henryville Red Cross- that’s your cost of admission. Can’t make the event? We’ll continue to collect this stuff inside Guitarworks now through the end of April.
2) Bring your friends and your appetite! There will be great food from Bernie’s BBQ of Morgantown! Bernie’s bringin’ the big smoker, for killer ribs, pulled pork, chicken, brats, dogs, sides and drinks. Eat like a King at Bernie’s BBQ and he’ll donate part of the proceeds back to our Special Olympics funds. It’s my favorite BBQ- and you’re gonna like it!
3) Listen to these great bands:
12pm - LEGIT
12:50pm - THEOTOKOS
1:40pm - BRIGHT DARKNESS
2:30pm - 4:30pm - BAND BUILDERS (7 Bands)
- Combustible Lemons
- First Time Offenders
- The Rocks
- Atomic Waffles
- Noyz R Us
- Assisted Living
- Suicidal Coconuts
4:50pm - The M80's
6:00pm -BLUE MOON REVUE
All through the day there will be live and silent auctions, giveaways, prizes, games, food, fun and lots of live music! There will also be demonstrations from the Special Olympics athletes and cheerleaders.
Raffle and auction items include great stuff from area vendors, instruments from Guitarworks suppliers, a Kentucky Speedway NASCAR ticket package and much more.
We’re doing all this to raise funds for the Johnson County Special Olympics. Please help us do a good thing, and make music for a great cause.
EXTREME THANKS to our Key Sponsors; FREEDOM 95.9 (Thanks, Randy!), GRAND RENTAL STATION (Thanks, Dale!) and HOME DEPOT (Thanks, Ed!)
Make plans to join us and bring all your friends to Guitarworks in Greenwood on Sunday, April 22nd from 12pm – 7pm. See you there!
